Lilongwe based Christian rap artist Masomphenya is expected to drop his fourth studio album “DailyIssues Part Two” this year.
The album will be the continuation of his previous one Daily Issues part one , a project which was released in 2014.
Writing on his Facebook page the artist confirms about the news.
“Hopefully this will not be my last album, but it’s good to be back in the studio and work on sequel Daily Issue Part Two,” wrote the artist.
Born Masomphenya Muyimbi has worked on a number of projects include Apologia, Parables and Daily Issues Part One.
According to the artist, Daily Issues Part two will address common matters especially faced by young people in the light of what scripture say(Gospel) referring to the book of 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
“Unlike the first project which circling on
issues of homosexuality, and Christianity, dating, depression, the doubt of one’s
salvation and true beauty”, said Masomphenya.
The project will feature artists Bryan Selby& Ally Green both from U.S.A and Ana Cruz from Mexico with production team composed of Chizmo from Malawi, Dope_Boyz Music from Germany, Don P from U.S.A, just to mention a few.
Masomphenya is a gospel rap artist who is known for packing truth in his lyrics and he has always been consistent throughout his music career.
Masomphenya started rapping in 2009 and transitioned to gospel music a year later, till to date he is under a Christian record label Substance Music.
